Mount Etna Winter Loop Hike: Craters, Caves, and Panoramic Views (1900-2400m)
Embark on a captivating ring loop hike, venturing away from most tourist paths to explore Mount Etna’s stunning winter landscapes. This excursion takes you from 1900 to an altitude of 2200/2400 meters, offering unparalleled views of the Crateri Silvestri, the vast Valle del Bove, and the majestic Summit Craters.
Your adventure begins with a scenic minivan transfer directly from Catania city center, winding through the beautiful Etna Park to reach the tourist station at 1900 meters. From here, the excursion begins in the company of our expert guides, who will lead you on a journey to discover the volcano, visiting Etna’s craters and caves. You’ll also reach the edge of the Valle del Bove for a breathtaking view of the Summit Craters. After a break to rest and recharge, an exhilarating descent through volcanic sand dunes brings you back to the starting point, followed by the return to Catania city center.
