Incredible! We had the best time. The hike was long enough to be exciting and interesting while also not so long that it was too stressful to find fun. The area was beautiful and almost not of this world! He was knowledgeable about the area and the science of the volcano. He also made sure we were all ready to take on the adventures ahead - with weather appropriate jackets and rain ponchos. The day was such a good time and that’s due to the amazing attitude and experience we had with our fabulous guide! Would highly recommend to anyone considering. Giuliano was an awesome guide! We spent all day together and had loads of fun. He was very knowledgeable about volcanoes and the Sicilian nature and ecosystems. We had an amazing day exploring Mount Etna and visiting a beautiful local winery in Sicily! The scenery was spectacular, and the winery experience was the perfect combination of delicious food and wonderful wines. The lunch and wine pairings were outstanding, and everything felt authentic and thoughtfully planned. Our tour guide, Guliano was very knowledgeable of the volcanic region and very accommodating! This tour was amazing. Giuliano was so knowledgeable about every aspect of our tour. Throughout our hike he pointed out all the unique plants and rocks associated with Mt Etna. He also explained volcanic activity not only here in Sicily but also in different regions. The winery was beautiful and the wines delicious.
